Karst.) chronologies have been used to reconstruct hydroclimate variability over the last millennium in Fennoscandia (Seftigen et al., 2015) and the chronologies of Scots pine over the past 14 centuries in south-east Finland (Helama et al., 2009; Helama, 2014).
